This Privacy Policy explains how Face Glow AI (“Face Glow AI”, “we”, “our”, or “the App”) collects, uses, processes, stores, shares, and protects information when users access or use the Face Glow AI mobile application and related services.
Where consent is legally or technically required, including before a facial photograph is transmitted to a third-party artificial intelligence provider, Face Glow AI requests that consent separately inside the App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account and Identity Information
When you create or use a Face Glow AI account, we may collect information linked to your account, including:
Name
We may collect your name to personalize your experience, display profile information, and provide account-related functionality.
Email Address
We collect your email address to create and manage your account, provide login functionality, communicate about your account, provide customer support, and maintain account security.
User ID
We assign or collect a unique user identifier to manage your account, connect your data and activity to your profile, provide personalized functionality, and manage account deletion.
1.2 Facial Photographs and Face Analysis Data
When you voluntarily choose to perform a face analysis, Face Glow AI collects the facial photograph that you capture using the device camera or select from your device.
Facial photographs are linked to your Face Glow AI account because they are stored to provide:
- face and skin analysis;
- personalized beauty and skincare recommendations;
- personalized face yoga routines;
- previous and current result comparisons;
- before-and-after progress views;
- analysis history;
- progress tracking over time.
Face Glow AI may also generate and store information derived from the facial photograph, including:
- visible facial landmarks;
- visible skin characteristics;
- cosmetic concern assessments;
- face and skin analysis scores;
- progress information;
- personalized recommendations;
- skincare and face yoga plans.
Face Glow AI does not use facial photographs or derived face data to identify you as a specific person, verify your identity, authenticate your identity, create a biometric identity profile, or track you across other apps or websites.
1.3 Product Interaction Data
We may collect information about how you interact with the App, including:
- screens viewed;
- features used;
- buttons tapped;
- onboarding interactions;
- subscription page interactions;
- scan usage;
- routine progress;
- face yoga activity;
- analysis frequency;
- general app behavior.
This information is used to provide analytics, improve app functionality, identify errors, improve user experience, and understand which features are useful.
1.4 Coarse Location
We may collect or infer approximate location information, such as your country or general region, through device settings, IP-derived information, app store information, or analytics services.
Coarse location may be used for localization, regional settings, analytics, service availability, and displaying region-appropriate content.
Face Glow AI does not request or collect precise GPS location unless the App clearly asks for it and you grant permission.
2. Face Scan, Photo Storage, and AI Processing
2.1 Collection of Facial Photographs
Face Glow AI collects a facial photograph only when you voluntarily initiate a scan, capture a photograph, or select a photograph for analysis.
Camera permission only allows Face Glow AI to access the device camera. It does not by itself constitute consent to send your photograph to OpenAI. A separate disclosure and consent request is presented before the photograph is transmitted to OpenAI.
2.2 How Facial Photographs Are Used
Face Glow AI uses facial photographs and associated analysis data for the following purposes:
- performing the face and skin analysis requested by the user;
- analyzing visible cosmetic and skincare characteristics;
- generating personalized cosmetic insights;
- generating skincare and face yoga recommendations;
- displaying analysis results;
- storing previous scans;
- allowing users to compare previous and current facial photographs;
- providing before-and-after progress tracking;
- creating personalized plans and routines.
Facial photographs and analysis results are not sold, used for third-party advertising, shared with data brokers, or used for cross-app tracking.
Face Glow AI does not use facial photographs to train its own artificial intelligence models.
2.3 OpenAI Processing
Face Glow AI uses OpenAI as a third-party artificial intelligence service provider.
Before a facial photograph is transmitted to OpenAI, Face Glow AI displays an in-app disclosure that:
- identifies the facial photograph as the data being sent;
- identifies OpenAI as the recipient;
- explains that the photograph is being sent for AI face and skin analysis;
- explains that the photograph is stored in the user’s Face Glow AI account for progress comparison;
- requests the user’s explicit permission.
The facial photograph is transmitted to OpenAI only after the user grants permission.
Face Glow AI sends the photograph to OpenAI solely to perform the analysis requested by the user and return personalized results.
Data submitted through the OpenAI API is not used to train or improve OpenAI models by default unless the API customer explicitly opts in to data sharing.
Under OpenAI’s standard API data controls, API inputs, outputs, and related abuse-monitoring information may be retained for up to 30 days, unless longer retention is required by law or is reasonably necessary to protect OpenAI’s services or third parties from harm.
If the user declines permission, the photograph is not transmitted to OpenAI and the AI face analysis is not performed.
2.4 Storage of Facial Photographs
Facial photograph files are stored using Cloud Storage for Firebase under the Face Glow AI Firebase project.
Google Cloud Firestore stores the photograph URL or storage reference, analysis results, progress records, and related account information. The facial photograph file itself is not stored directly in Google Cloud Firestore.
The photographs and associated analysis data are linked to the user’s Face Glow AI account so that the user can:
- access previous analyses;
- review analysis history;
- compare previous and current photographs;
- track visible progress over time;
- receive recommendations based on previous results.
2.5 Retention of Facial Photographs
Facial photographs and associated analysis results are retained for as long as the user’s Face Glow AI account remains active.
Face Glow AI does not apply a fixed expiration period to facial photographs while the account remains active. This retention is necessary to provide analysis history, before-and-after comparisons, progress tracking, and personalized recommendations.
The user can permanently delete the account and associated facial data at any time through:
Profile → Account Information → Delete Account
2.6 Deletion of Facial Photographs and Account Data
When the user confirms account deletion, Face Glow AI initiates the permanent deletion of the user’s account and associated information from its active systems, including:
- facial photographs;
- scan history;
- face and skin analysis results;
- derived analysis scores;
- before-and-after comparison information;
- progress records;
- personalized recommendations;
- skincare routines;
- face yoga plans;
- profile information;
- account-related information.
Account deletion cannot be undone.
Deleting a Face Glow AI account does not immediately control information temporarily retained by OpenAI under OpenAI’s API abuse-monitoring and security practices. Such information may remain with OpenAI for up to 30 days or for a longer period where legally required or reasonably necessary to protect the service or third parties.
Account deletion removes facial photograph files from Cloud Storage for Firebase and deletes their associated URLs, references, analysis results, and account records from Google Cloud Firestore.
2.7 TrueDepth API and Face Tracking Data
On supported Apple devices, Face Glow AI uses Apple’s TrueDepth API and ARKit face-tracking capabilities during the live face-scanning process. During the live scan, the App temporarily accesses and processes facial geometry or mesh coordinates, face position and orientation, and depth or distance information. This information is used only to: – position the visual face-mesh animation correctly over the user’s face; – determine whether the user’s face is positioned at an appropriate angle and distance; – guide the user before capturing the photograph; – improve the alignment, framing, and overall quality of the photograph used for analysis. TrueDepth and face-tracking information is processed locally on the user’s device in temporary memory. Face Glow AI does not: – store TrueDepth data, depth maps, facial mesh coordinates, or ARKit face-anchor data; – upload TrueDepth or face-tracking data to Google Firebase; – transmit TrueDepth or face-tracking data to OpenAI; – share TrueDepth or face-tracking data with any third party; – link TrueDepth data to the user’s account; – use TrueDepth data for facial recognition, identity verification, biometric authentication, advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking. TrueDepth and face-tracking information is discarded when the live scanning session ends. Only the two-dimensional facial photograph voluntarily captured by the user is stored and transmitted as described in Sections 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, and 2.6 of this Privacy Policy.

Users can control camera and photo permissions through device settings.
Denying camera or photo permission may prevent the user from using face scan and analysis functionality.
Camera or photo-library permission is separate from the explicit consent required before transmitting a facial photograph to OpenAI.
11. Children’s Privacy
Face Glow AI is not intended for children under the age of 13 or the minimum age required by applicable law in the user’s country.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who are not legally permitted to provide it.
